7.2.0
Reporting of Accidents or Serious Illnesses
7.2.1
In the event of an employee suffering any serious or fatal accident, it shall be the employer’s responsibility to report it to the PKFZ Administration Section (OSA Department) for immediate action (Tel:603-3105568).
7.2.2
Within two days of an accident, the Employer must present a written report to the OSA and in accordance with their procedures, give the employee’s name, ID number, address and nationality. It must also include a brief account of the circumstances of the accident and a note of medical aid provided.
7.2.3
The employer shall maintain records of any accident which its employees suffer (not just serious or fatal).
7.2.4

In the event of any employee suffering from food poisoning or infectious disease, the employer shall be required to promptly notify the OSA.
