DOE Selangor is the controller of waste disposal sites in the whole of Selangor and it has its own Local Order and Technical Guidelines to control the issue. Free Zone tenants should be aware of these rules in order to fulfill such requirements. These regulations can be obtained from DOE Selangor through PKFZ's OSA Department.

• The Kualiti Alam Application for Hazardous Waste form should be completed by the waste generator (Licensee). The form is available from the OSA of PKFZ.
• The Licensee will submit the completed form to the Engineering Department for their initial approval. The Engineering Department will then arrange for the packing of the hazardous waste disposal on behalf of the client once the quotation by the Engineering Department is approved by the client.
• Four copies of this form will then be submitted to the OSA.
• Upon approval, the OSA will return two of the forms to the tenant with disposal instructions. There will be charges applied by the OSA for the disposal of such waste. The rates can be obtained from OSA.
• One copy of the form will be presented to Security Department who will issue a gate pass, which is essential to permit the waste to leave the Free Zone for disposal to Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd.
• The other copy of the form will be submitted to the DOE's Site Supervisor at the disposal site who will sign it and return it to the Licensee for their records.
• Transporters for these disposals have to be registered with the PKFZ Management as official transportation for any waste disposal.
